Ben Affleck

Player Charity: A-T Children's Project
Ben Affleck first achieved notoriety by winning a Best Screenplay
Oscar along with his friend and fellow Bostonian, Matt Damon for "Good
Will Hunting". Having already been playing a variety of young
stud roles in film and TV, he quickly skyrocketed to fame on
the basis of such roles as the conceited Ned Alleyn in "Shakespeare
in Love", rakish Capt. Rawley in "Pearl Harbor", and
Jack Ryan in "The Sum of All Fears". He takes his super-stardom
and all it entails with good humor. He is also a bona fide poker player,
schooled by top pro Annie Duke. He recently won the 2004 California
State Poker Championship, taking home $376,000 and beating a list
of top pros in the process.
