Heads Up Poker? HeadsUp poker is the name given when two poker players, and only two poker players, play poker against each other. Such as the National Headsup Poker Championship which Phil Helmuth recently won. HeadsUp poker could also be a result of two poker players being the only remaining poker players in a tournament that may have begun with hundreds of poker players. When it is down to just two poker players, it is termed HeadsUp poker. HeadsUp poker is also a name given when the betting results in just two poker players remaining on a particular poker deal, when all other poker players have folded. Typically in such HeadsUp poker situations the normal betting limits on the number of poker bets allowed is waived and the poker players may continue to bet until one poker player is out of chips,leaving the other poker player with all the poker chips.
